Nino Thephavong is a Senior Character Technical Director specialising in the design, creation, and animation of organic and non-organic digital characters. He has honed his craft in various animation and film studios in Australia. Like many young adults of his generation, Nino has grown up with the love and passion for the relatively new medium of digital and interactive entertainment.

Over course of his career, he been has been fortunate enough to work with some of the industries most prestigious brand franchises and intellectual properties, such as Stars Wars, Warhammer 40K, and Transformers. Most recently, one of his works has been the honoured with an AEAF Award for Best Cinematics.

Nino has balanced his skill set to both encompass the technical and artistical aspects of creation of his art. Which includes but not limited to: Organic and non-organic modelling, character animation. Character rigging, cloth and hair dynamics. Scene shading, lighting and rendering. Most significantly, Nino’s training has been based on the important foundations of the traditional arts.
